Sylvester Stallone Embraces His Full Head Of Gray Hair And A Gray Beard In Instagram Post

Sylvester Stallone is embracing his head of gray hair. He just took to social media to share a selfie, and he's totally sans dyed hair! Typically when we see Sylvester, his hair is a dark brown with some salt and pepper sprinkled in. But it seems like the 73-year-old actor is settling into his new gray look. That's right: Rocky has officially gone gray, and he's ready to show it off.

No one had seen his new look up close and personal yet, but on Tuesday, his grays made their social media debut. It's definitely a new look, but it's not bad at all. In the short video post, Sylvester is gray from his head to his beard. He drops in on social just to say good morning. "Keep punching, my friend. Keep punching," he says to his fans. Of course, fans had a lot of thoughts about his new look, and they took to the comments section to share them.

The new hair color looks great on Sly. In fact, it's nice to see a man or woman embrace different aspects of their age. Many actors choose to keep dying their hair, but it looks like Sylvester is ready for a more natural look.

Accompanying the short video post, Sly wrote the caption, "Sometimes I wake up I feel like doing nothing. Just relaxing. Just very true. If anyone says different, they’re lying – it’s human nature." We totally agree.

He continued, "Then you roll over, get a little mad at yourself, and realize to get anywhere you’ve got to make a deposit in the GOAL BANK. So, I’ll go back to my favorite phrase and do it!!" Sylvester is always the motivator. It doesn't seem like he's slowing down anytime soon, no matter his hair color.

Instagrammers largely loved the new look. “Proud of you with the silver hair,” one user wrote. The video has been viewed over 4 million times! Clearly, lots of people are glad to see him embracing his older, wiser side.

According to People, Sly is actually an expert at dyeing hair. Sylvester has often styled his daughter's hair and colored it in the past. That's because he actually knows a lot about hair care! His father was a hairdresser, and Sylvester was actually trained as one before he became an actor.

Sylvester might be 73 years old, but he's pretty much a pro at staying young. He's still acting and is starring in a new movie called Samaritan. He's plenty active on social media. And, of course, he's still motivating us with inspirational videos.

Sylvester also recently shared a heartfelt post on social media about the death of basketball star Kobe Bryant. In a message just a few days ago, Sly wrote, "The world lost a great man and a great champion. I feel so bad for his family. Breaks my heart. Athlete, writer, innovator, role model, #OneOfAKind."

Sylvester is a big-time basketball fan. He has often been seen sitting courtside at LA Lakers games. In the image he shared on Instagram, a smiling Sylvester is chatting with Kobe on the court.

Sylvester keeps up with the trends, too. He recently took part in the viral social media challenge that Dolly Parton started, sharing a four-picture collage of different LinkedIn, Facebook, Instagram, and Tinder looks. He's definitely a social media pro.
