They Call Her The “Turkey Whisperer.” But When She Does THIS, I LOST It! Hysterical!

Any animal enthusiast will likely explain away the many ways that animals big and small communicate with humans, often correctly insinuating that they even understand our complex human-talk some of the time.

The Livestock Conservancy calls itself “a nonprofit membership organization working to protect nearly 200 breeds of livestock and poultry from extinction,” which includes “cattle, goats, horses, sheep, pigs, rabbits, chickens, ducks, geese, and turkeys.” One of its employees, Jeannette Beranger, visited another ranch and tested what she describes as her “turkey whisperer” skills (if you hadn’t heard of this talent before just now, you’re not alone).

I can’t even begin to describe how hard I laughed the first time I watched this video, but there were literal tears. In fact, it reminded me of a couple of other bizarre turkey videos we’ve posted in past, namely the one of a turkey drunk on his own ego, or another of a man being pursued aggressively by a turkey who takes an interest in his unicycle. Truly, it appears that turkeys are comedic, er, birds of a feather. I guarantee that this ridiculous video will put a smile on your face.
