Taylor and Chris Fisher brought their son Oliver on a trip to Epcot at Walt Disney World in Florida at the beginning of July 2017. Like many families, they took photos to document their amazing vacation.
While in the France Pavilion at the theme park, Taylor and Chris were stopped by another couple who offered to take their photo. "They were very patient as Oliver did not cooperate during the picture taking and finally got a decent one. We said thank you and went on our way," Taylor says in the video below.
But a few minutes later, the husband who took the photo came back to the family with tears in his eyes. "Through broken tears, he went on to tell us they had four beautiful children, three of whom were in the park with their grandparents, while the fourth was spending his first birthday in heaven," Taylor says.
That's when the couple offered to take the Fisher family to Mouse Gear, a store within Epcot, and give Oliver a shopping spree in memory of their son Duke who had passed away.
Taylor shared the entire emotional story on her Facebook page and the post has not only brought people to tears, it's resonated with thousands across the globe. Since posting it on July 14, 2017, Taylor's post has received over 50,000 reactions and more than 27,000 comments.

This is Taylor and Chris Fisher with their son Oliver. They took a trip to Epcot where they met a couple who had recently lost their son. Taylor took to Facebook to share their experience.
Taylor wrote: "I don't think it's possible to find the words eloquent enough to describe the profound impact it had on my life and also because, though we were surrounded by thousands of others, the experience seemed so intimate it almost feels too personal to share."
Taylor wrote a lengthy note expressing what the experience was like. She described that the other couple, Scott and Sally, had stopped to take their photo then came back in tears saying how much Oliver reminded them of their late son Duke.
"Today, July 1st, would have been sweet baby Duke, who passed away just a few months ago, 's 1st birthday," Taylor wrote in her post. "Oliver reminded them so much of their little boy they asked to take him to Mouse Gear's on a shopping spree for baby Duke's first birthday."
This is Taylor's full post about the experience with Scott and Sally.
She described how the couple wanted to celebrate Duke's birthday by buying toys for Oliver. Taylor and Chris agreed and the families walked over to the store together.
"I was so overwhelmed with peace, a peace that only God can provide, that I handed my little boy over and watched as he held the hands of these two people whom my heart suddenly felt so connected with. Chris and I of course followed behind," Taylor wrote.
Taylor also shared the photo Scott and Sally took of their family that started the remarkable experience.
This is the photo Scott and Sally took of the Fisher family. Taylor uploaded it to her Facebook page with her post about their fateful meeting with the other couple at Epcot.
"Through an act of their own generosity, I witnessed a couple begin to heal from the grief and ache of losing something so dear," Taylor wrote.
Taylor also shared a photo she took of Scott, Sally, and Oliver.
Scott and Sally posed with Oliver while buying him toys at Mouse Gear in Epcot.
Scott and Sally didn't want to just buy Oliver toys, interacting with the boy who reminded them so much of their son allowed the parents to heal on what would have been their son's birthday.
Taylor wrote in her post:
After they bought him way too many toys, we all stopped in the middle of the store. We held each other and we prayed. God’s presence was so real and we worshiped and praised him for his ultimate design, for it was only God who could have brought us together.
As we left Sally told us that she prayed that God would send her closure and tonight was her gift from God. After tonight she could start to move on. To heal.
Little Oliver may have no idea the impact he had on complete strangers, but thanks to him, parents who'd lost so much were able to have some closure while making another little boy so happy.
"Had we stopped in one more shop, taken one more picture, went a different direction, watched the parade a little longer, we would have missed it," Taylor wrote. "But we didn't because God was in control. And that, my friends, makes life a whole lot more meaningful."
