This Has Got To Be THE Scariest Song About Teddy Bears You’ll Ever Hear!

A few years before the onset of WWII, America was in a gloomy place. The stock market had crushed the dreams of thousands, bread lines were ever-present and the whole world seemed to be at a financial standstill.

Perhaps due to the state of the world, darker and more dreary subject matter seemed to be more popular at the time. People were growing more pessimistic and jaded, and the music went from the bouncy jingles of the roaring twenties, to the more somber tones of the '30s.

This spooky-sounding version of the song "The Teddy Bear's Picnic," comes from famed composer Henry Hall and his Orchestra. Though originally written in the early 1900s by John Walter Bratton, the first vocal version of this off-putting song was performed by Hall, and is has since become the most well known version of the song.

Since the '30s, this creepy tune has been sung over the passing years by incredibly different artists. From Bing Crosby to Jerry Garcia, this song has had an impact on many people, and I definitely understand why!

Would you go into the woods when the teddy bears are having their picnic?
