Teen Gives Her Calculus Teacher A Hilarious Apology Cake

High school is tough, and being a teenager is far from easy. Whether you're dealing with mishaps at your senior prom or drama in the drama club, it's always something. Some days, you make it to class with five minutes to spare. Other days, you show up 10 minutes late and you've got to apologize to your teacher.

Even the best students missed class a few times, right? It wasn't just me? OK, so maybe you can't remember being late to calculus or chemistry, but I'm sure most of us weren't rushing to get to P.E. The only period I think I can promise I was never late to in high school was lunch, and that one is a no-brainer!

Jenny Hudak was chronically late to her calculus class this school year. Her end-of-year surprise for her teacher will most likely go down in her high school's history. Rather than give a simple "I'm Sorry" card, she took her apology to the next level.

Jenny was late to calculus every day. But not for the reasons you might think! "I'm the editor-in-chief and senior class president at my school, and as a result have a very busy schedule. The way my class schedule was arranged, my yearbook block was prior to my calculus class," Jenny said told LittleThings. Most days, she was so caught up in her work, it made her late to calculus.

Instead of thanking him with a card, Jenny went the next step to thank her teacher for being so understanding.

As you can imagine, getting a cake from a student is probably not what he expected!

The cake was such a sweet gesture (literally!). "My school teaches its students about having an attitude of gratitude, and this is simply what the gesture was. I never expected it to go viral," Jenny said. What a great message to teach!

If her teacher is anything like us, he's probably STILL laughing over this.

We bet none of Jenny's other classmates pulled off something quite as cool and thoughtful as she did this year! Congrats to the graduating senior.

And don't forget to SHARE with your friends and family! Do you have a teenager in your life you think would do this?
