Heroes are all around us. You'll see a few if you look hard enough. This Thai man is definitely one of them.
Unexpected things happen in the most ordinary places, as you can see in the video below, posted on December 23rd, 2016.
According to Daily Mail, a Thai man was kneeling down, trying to work on a motor bike repair. There were two young children walking slowly behind him, just going about their day.
Then, the unthinkable happened.
From the surveillance footage, it seemed as if the man heard an unusual noise. He lifted himself up and turned around to figure out what it was. That was when the two children caught his eye.
After he saw them, he jumped. Right behind them was a speeding, out-of-control car.
Using his instincts, he ran towards the children and grabbed them, but there was not enough time to get them out of the raging vehicle's way. The rogue car was racing towards all three of them.
In the blink of an eye, the man went from standing behind the children to the ground. He grabbed the two children, one in each arm, and did a life-saving backflip as the car zoomed past them.
The car almost grazed them, but the man's exceptionally timed move saved the two young kids' lives as well as his own.
In the end, this selfless man put his life on the line for those children and came out of the situation as a true hero.
