Holden was born with a life-threatening heart defect. At only 4-months-old, he needed life-saving open heart surgery. Strong Films was invited to film it, and be there throughout this incredibly intimate process. “Tin Man” tells the story of the brave, loving and courageous Flynn family and their little boy who could.
“Tin Man” does an extraordinary job of not only connecting the viewer to the hospital and all the good that comes out of it, but also to this precious miracle baby — and how the faith and love of Holden’s parents carried him through surgery with success and grace. Though Holden may face more surgeries in his future, his parents know he’ll get through whatever challenges he faces.
When asked if they would have changed anything about their lives thus far, the Flynns reveal so much about their strong marriage and connection to their little boy in their beautiful yet simple answer: “We definitely wouldn’t change anything. Even if his heart’s a little tinkered.”
