In what might be the coolest music video I've ever seen, Canadian DJ A-Trak and Australian DJ Tommy Trash have united to create the ultimate lunchtime masterpiece. "Tuna Melt" seems like a boring name for a song that contains so many cool sound effects, but when you see what happens when the music starts playing, you'll realize that it's anything but lame.
No matter how many times I see them, I never get tired of these crazy chain reaction videos. Just imagining the time and effort that goes into making them is intimidating, but the final result is almost always enough to leave me entranced, just like this cat who's hypnotized by this domino circle. But I bet it's way more fun to watch these masterpieces in action than it is to actually build them. Do you think you'd have the patience to set up Van Gogh's "Starry Night" using 7,000 dominoes, only to have it all come crashing down?
The "Tuna Melt" video uses way more than just dominoes, though; whoever set this thing up really knows how to use the laws of physics to their advantage. Every moment of it, from beginning to end, is completely mesmerizing. Part of me wants to build one of these myself one day, but the other part knows that whatever I'd make would never turn out to be this cool!
