Winter can be the dreariest time of the year for many people — but there's nothing that delicious, beautiful food can't fix!
This time, we're talking about donuts. Doughnut Time shop in Brisbane, Australia, recently celebrated its one-year anniversary with over 120 decadent, extravagant, and outrageously colorful donut creations.
Twenty local pastry chefs from bakeries all over the city collaborated on these designs, and the results were simply breathtaking.
Below, you can take a look at 10 of the mesmerizing creations, ranging from donuts that have birthday-cake-like tiers and donuts that are topped with candies and confetti, to donuts that are shaped like sandwiches and donuts injected with syrup-filled syringes.
These donuts further remind us of other decadent dessert creations that we've witnessed in the past, like these huge, tasty milkshakes.
And although we're unable to actually taste these donuts for the time being, we can at least feast our eyes on them!

The Doughnut Time shop in Brisbane, Australia, has become an absolute sensation in popular food circles, and with thousands of customers from all over the city.
The store first opened a year ago, and since then has wowed us with their colorful, rather theatrical donuts.
To celebrate its one-year anniversary, the shop collaborated with 20 different local bakers in the city to create around 120 different donut designs, and brought them to life.

This was the colorful "magical, confetti, unicorn donut."
This was a pandan (a tropical plant used in Southeast Asian cuisine) glazed doughnut, topped with a salted palm sugar drizzle and crushed Oreo pieces.
This neon-coated doughnut was topped with sour Skittles and candy floss.
This doughnut was inspired by the kanafeh, a Middle Eastern cheese pastry soaked in sweet syrup.
It even came complete with crushed pistachios on top, and a syringe of sweetened, sugary syrup!
This was the "Funfetti" donut, which came topped with popcorn, cotton candy, sprinkles, a mound of candy, and even bubblegum.
The "Doughnut Crackle Sundae" was simply an ice cream sandwich — but with donuts!
This trio of little donuts were reportedly inspired by a honeycomb, affogato (an Italian coffee-based dessert), and sticky date pudding.
And finally, we have the majestic donut tower, which came topped with a white chocolate ganache drizzle, a "fruit salad unicorn cheesecake ball," edible flowers, and meringue.
