It seems like there are a million videos for making the perfect hard boiled egg, and even step-by-step instructions on how to peel them, but to me, hard boiled eggs have never been that hard to make. The real challenge, I've always found, is poaching them.
Poached eggs are delicious, but they are definitely hard to get right the first time. Whether they end up coming out too runny, or way too hard, I've always wanted to perfect this fancy method of cooking eggs, but have never felt confident in my poaching abilities.
Enter – this video! The only things you need to create perfect poached eggs, claims this cook from Food And Wine, is a boiling pot of water and a strainer (which I had never thought about using). Not only does this method look simple, it also takes almost no time at all!
