Teenager Blows The Judges On ‘The Voice’ Away — And It Only Took 5 Seconds. WOW!

When Demi van Wijngaarden auditioned for The Voice Kids in the Netherlands, she blew two of the judges away in just five seconds.

The young singer performed Etta James’ 1960s hit “Something's Got A Hold On Me.” Her powerful voice, which immediately won over Marco Borsato and judging duo Nick & Simon, makes it hard to believe she’s only a teenager.

Yet, unlike her male colleagues, Angela Groothuizen needed a bit more convincing. It was the moment Demi changed the tempo (at the :45 mark) that made the female judge smile and press her red button.

Still, no one seemed to enjoy the performance as much as Borsato, who kept nodding his head in approval. And what he does at the 1:46 mark not only shows his excitement, it’s also pretty hilarious!
