They Gave Her 6 Months To Live… 10 Years Ago. This Amazing Rescue Bird Proved Them ALL Wrong!

Oscar is a 35 year old Molucan Cockatoo that was rescued during a drug raid. Veterinarians realized she had a beak and feather disease that causes her to pull out her feathers due to irritation. She was given only six months to live. Over a decade later, she has now become an inspiration to many, even though others criticize her for being "the ugliest bird in the world." Clearly, they haven't met her — Oscar is vivacious, talkative and kindhearted. I LOVE how her caretakers call her "The Sexy Bird."

Despite the odds Oscar has survived and has now become a great example that real beauty comes from within.
