This Poor Fox Was Running Out Of Air, Until Some Friendly Humans Came To His Rescue

Wild animals have the tendency to get themselves in situations that they can't seem to get out of without some outside help. When they wander into populated areas and neighborhoods, their noses betray them and lead them to whatever smells the best. Thinking with their stomaches and following the smells, many of them wind up stuck in trashcans, Dumpsters, backyards, and other places that might not be so animal-friendly.

Luckily for these troubled animals, groups like Wildlife Aid and East Sussex WRAS exist. Staffed totally of volunteers, they set out to make sure they try to help any animals in need that they can, and thankfully, they have more success stories than anything else.

The fox in this video got himself into an extremely dangerous situation when he got his head stuck in a container that he was trying to eat out of, and struggling only made it more snug, restricting his air.

Like the kitten who had her head stuck in a tin can, this fox only had a limited amount of time to be rescued before he would no longer be able to breathe. With time quickly ticking away, these rescuers were able to capture the cub, remove the container, and get him on his way to recovering, reminding us all that not properly disposing of our trash can have serious negative effects.
