Michigan state basketball star Adreian Payne befriended 8-year-old Lacey Holsworth (both seen above) two years ago, when his team visited the hospital where Lacey was being treated for every family’s worst nightmare, an aggressive form of cancer. Since then, Adreian has formed a unique friendship with Lacey, who calls him her big brother, as she serves as inspiration for him when times get stressful. Adreian fights to win on the court with his sick friend as inspiration, while Lacey fights every day to stay alive.  If this story completely touched your heart and you think Adreian Payne is an excellent role model for the youth of our nation, please go ahead and SHARE it with your friends.
