While on vacation in Israel, animal friend and rescuer Eldad Hagar of the amazing organization "Hope For Paws" took a wrong turn and thought he was completely lost. What he ended up finding made him a true hero… and an angel.

The donkey Hagar found had been an abused prisoner for his entire life. He was overworked and underfed. This animal would have certainly died if not for Hagar's quick thinking and unique bond with animals. There is no doubt in my mind that being in the right place at the right time was a miracle.
