Titled 'This Is A Generic Brand Video', this commercial is pretty spot-on in showing us what we don't know we already know… make sense?
It's the fact that many companies really go over-the-top when trying to purvey a certain brand image. Using imagery, key words and a voice over actor with a certain warm tone to him, advertisers have gotten a little out of control in tricking consumers into thinking buying their products is making a big difference in the world. Now I'm not saying every time you buy dish detergent or cotton threads you're not making a difference, maybe we all are, but don't you feel a little bit duped after watching this?!
