Ever wonder what eating fast food burgers actually does inside your body after you eat them? Wonder no more! Researchers from The University of Nottingham decided to crack the case when they filled a container with hydrochloric acid solution (a digestive-aiding chemical in our stomachs), and dipped a fast food burger in it for 3 and 1/2 hours.
And what do you know, the result was a black, sludgy, goopy mess. Now, this video isn't trying to say that fast food burgers are "bad" for you — it's merely a scientific experiment to show what that 'ol stomach of yours goes through after consuming this type of food. Yet, I can't help but think twice about hitting up that fast food joint for a late-night snack.
