DJ Hookie is a Syndey-based DJ, party promoter, and music producer. When he was 19, he suffered a virulent illness that caused scarring and amputation of his arms and legs. 13 years later, Hookie is a world-renowned DJ, playing at festivals in front of thousands of people. Hookie gives us an unbelievable insight into the misconceptions and assumptions he experiences with his visible disabilities. What an incredible story. I'm amazed at his accomplishments, and hope this serves for others as a reminder that you can always achieve your dreams, no matter your abilities.
