Okay, here's what we know about this strangely adorable video: This tiny baby Spider Monkey was rescued and rehabilitated by a team of caring professionals. Since then, he's gained weight and has learned to eat by himself! He was fed with a syringe adapted with a bottle nipple for a few weeks, and then introduced to solid food (what we see in the video), and has since grown into feeding by himself. Oh, and we know he's cute as can be.
What we aren't exactly sure of is how this original lullaby, written just for this adorable monkey, came about. It certainly wasn't written by the folks taking care of him! I can only assume a songwriter saw this monkey and was so smitten that he couldn't help but put words to the face. I gotta say, it's funny, it's catchy and it nearly lulled me to sleep, too!
A funny little monkey deserves a funny little song, so I guess it's a pretty perfect video one could expect from the Internet. LOL!
