This past week, a Tennessee woman saw a cardboard box outside a Goodwill drop-off area. The box was moving, so she immediately ripped it open.
What she found inside was shocking.
Inside the box were three small female puppies, covered in urine and feces. Someone had sealed them inside the box, which was well over 100 degrees, and labeled it "Stuffed Animals." It was taped fully shut. There were no holes, nowhere for them to breathe. Simply awful.
The months-old puppies were quickly transferred to the McKamey Animal Center. Thank God the good Samaritan found them just in the nick of time, and acted on her impulse to open the box. The pups are adorable, and they're currently receiving full-time attention and care, and are doing great!
Now, the rescue is hoping to start an investigation to find the person(s) who did this. In the meantime, the puppies are preparing to receive their shots. Once they're healthy, they'll be put up for adoption. I have no doubt all three of these miracle pups will find their forever families.
Seeing this rescue not only brings us to tears of joy, but it's also a reminder of the amazing work of rescue organizations across the country. If you agree, please SHARE this story with your friends on Facebook!
