Carrie Kosinski of Racine, Wisconsin, always thought she would have a huge family. Being adopted herself, she imagined she would have her own kids and adopt as well.
"I grew up in a big family. Growing up, I had always wanted — like, 18 children was my number," said Carrie. "I had been seeing a doctor and they said it was going to be very difficult for us to get pregnant on our own."
She and her husband Craig decided that it only made sense to adopt.
First came one set of twins born on February 28. When they decided to adopt again from the same mother, they got another set of twins… born on February 28.
As if that weren't eerie enough, Carrie herself became pregnant. Shockingly, Carrie had another set of twins. The day Carrie gave birth? February 28.
Each set of twins was born on the same day! It was as if they were all cosmically fated to be together somehow.
All of the twins are girls, so the Kosinski home is bustling with sisters… although the couple admits they wouldn't mind having a son next.
