You'd think a mother of six, like Shalonda Dominique, would know exactly what to expect when she goes into labor, but she continues to be surprised.
Fortunately, the baby, named Harlem, was born healthy and it was a relatively easy childbirth, though it did come with a shocking twist.
It wasn't that the baby's sex was different than they had expected or that she didn't know she was pregnant.
Her baby surprised her by being born on March 13th. Specifically, he was born on Friday the 13th.
I know that doesn't sound remarkable, but to Shalonda and her family, it was absolutely mind-blowing. In fact, the odds of this baby being born on March 13th must be at least a million to one.
Shalonda has six kids she loves very much — Trinity, Monet, London, Tre, Santana, and now Harlem. The youngest three are all boys and they share one incredible thing in common.
I don't want to spoil it here. You'll just have to watch the video below to find out why Harlem's birthday is so peculiar and surprising to his family, but it really does make you appreciate how life can work in such mysterious ways.
