It's no secret that Tim McGraw is a country superstar. With three Grammys, 25 #1 hit singles and the man behind the highest grossing tour in country music history, Tim has been at the forefront of country since his breakthrough album in 1994. But what many people don't know is what Tim McGraw does for American vets.
For the past three years, Tim has dedicated himself to working with Operation Homefront, giving away newly renovated, mortgage-free homes to deserving military families.
There are currently over 2.5 million post-9/11 veterans, and another one million who will transition out of the military in the next few years. “The return to civilian life can be a challenging transition,” says McGraw in a message to the press. “We want to welcome veterans home to the community they sacrificed to protect. A mortgage-free home provides stability for their families and also allows them to start this new chapter of their life with one less worry. It’s an amazing feeling to see them receive something they so deeply deserve, and to be able to share that experience with thousands of fans each night makes me proud to be a part of this program.”
What an amazing man, husband, father, and friend to the troops. If you agree, please SHARE this video with your friends on Facebook!
