There's always been something that American's love when it comes to the classic tale of a good old fashioned "Underdog Story." Those amazing stories about the team or person who should have given up, who shouldn't have put forth the effort, who wasted their time… and in the end, lost.
But just when the whole world thinks those people are down and out, they pull themselves back up to their feet, dusting themselves off and going on to win the prize, trophy or competition much to everyone's surprise.
In the video below, you get the chance to see the very early beginnings of this little underdog's story. The little girl in the pink tutu was born three-and-a-half months premature, so she's pretty used to fighting hard at this point. While she might be a bit small, she makes up for it with her huge spirit and sense of drive and tenacity.
The video was filmed at a ballet class, and while she hasn't gotten the moves down just yet and those tap dancing shoes are certainly giving her some trouble, she refuses to stay down. She might fall a thousand more times, but with drive like that it's obvious that she'll be able to do whatever she sets her mind to!
