Accidental shootings happen all the time. A newly released video from a doorbell security camera shows us exactly why. In it, a toddler boy can be seen holding a loaded gun.
The child waves the semiautomatic handgun around the apartment complex hallway, even appearing to attempt to pull the trigger just outside of his home.
Luckily, someone saw the child before tragedy struck. A neighbor saw him with the gun and called police. The child's father was arrested soon after on charges of neglect.
The entire incident is simply terrifying and should serve as a reminder that gun owners should always keep their guns locked up, especially when there are children living in the home.
