They Caught Tom Hanks’ BIZARRE Confession On A NYC Street — You’ve Got To Hear This!

Oscar winner Tom Hanks proved that acting isn't his only forte: He's also a pretty good at lip syncing.

That’s right, Mr. Hanks took the place of Carly Rae Jepsen in the video for her upbeat single “I Really Like You” — and it’s actually really, really funny.

Hanks doesn’t miss a word, even mouthing the lyrics, “I need to tell you something. I’m pregnant. Just kidding.”  Toward the end of the video, he also participates in a synchronized dance, which only adds to the humor. (It's almost as good as this couple's first wedding dance!)

The actor is completely out of character — much like this toddler and his rescue dog.

This is a massive transition from Forrest Gump and Cast Away, so it’s only natural to wonder how Jepsen got the critically acclaimed actor to appear in her pop video.

Well, Hanks apparently volunteered after having dinner with Jepsen’s manager/Hanks' friend, Scooter Braun.

"He was telling him how I had this vision for like a male lead, that I wanted to have this guy sing the song rather than me, and I thought it would be really comedic and funny, especially if it was someone totally unexpected," the singer told ABC News. "And Tom was like, 'Well, why don’t you guys ever ask me?' ”

Yet, Hanks isn’t the only big star that appears in the clip. A super famous pop star also joins in on the fun at the 3:02 mark.
