When I was little, I remember when I would be getting ready for school, my dad would always be in the living room checking up on the local weather report. It was — and still is — one of his favorite things to watch on television. I understand that it's important to know what the day and coming week are going to be like, but I never really understood what was the big deal with the local weather report!
Sure, some fun things have happened during weather reports before, but those instances are the exception rather than the rule. One of these times was when this reporter wore the wrong colored dress for her broadcast and caused quite the stir.
One other awesome weather moment was when this clever weather reporter snuck in joke after hilarious joke into her daily forecast. Now, it's stuff like this that's definitely worth catching.
However, early last week, something else awesome happened on the live forecast for the Chicago area. After reporting on a nearby tornado, the newscaster hands the story off to a special guest.
This guest has quite the theory about why the weather is behaving in such a crummy manner… when you see who it is, you'll understand what I'm talking about!
I'm going to have to start taking after my father, and start watching the daily forecast before I leave for work in the morning!
