Since the days of Judy Blume, women of all ages have been searching for ways to increase their bust size. Recently, YouTubers started a new, bizarre trend: using toothpaste on their boobs. This trick is supposed to make your boobs bigger and perkier.
Some women simply use toothpaste and petroleum jelly, while others add extra ingredients to the mixture. They do this every night for anywhere from five to 30 days. No matter the method, the end result is the same: minty white gunk all over your breasts.
Beauty bloggers who believe in this hack say that the concoction can tighten sagging breasts and even make your boobs bigger.
You might be shocked that this trend is actually catching on, but never underestimate the allure of a weird beauty hack!
One YouTube user, Naturalbeauty556, has a video titled, "Tighten Sagging Breast In 6 Days Using Toothpaste No Jokes." In the video, she mixes a concoction of cucumber, yogurt, and flour with toothpaste for a live demo.

Once she has mixed the ingredients together, she applies the gooey substance to her chest.

She confidently rubs it in (as if this is a normal thing to do).

Do this every day for five days and you'll see results, she claims.

Another YouTuber, zonelynTV, published a video called "How to increase breast size in 30 days." She uses petroleum jelly and toothpaste on her breasts and her nipples and leaves it on overnight, every night for 30 days.

A third brave YouTuber tried this trick for herself, then published a video with her honest opinion.
"I gave this a shot for 30 whole days to see if it would actually work because I have been longing and wanting bigger boobs for years now," MakeupMesha said.

"I tried this every night like an idiot, for 30 days, and had my boyfriend looking at me like 'What is she doing?'"
So what happened?

Nothing, apparently. "This does not work," explained MakeupMesha.

MakeupMesha massaged the toothpaste into her nipples and rubbed petroleum jelly all over her breasts, like the videos advised. Absolutely nothing happened.

Indeed, medical professionals urge women not to expect any results from this practice.
"This bizarre advice simply preys on the many women who are unhappy with the size of their breasts and who might resort to bizarre 'miracle fixes' to find a solution to their problem," Christopher Inglefield, the medical director of the London Bridge Plastic Surgery & Aesthetic Clinic, told Metro UK.
"Sadly, like a lot of guidance on the internet, the Vaseline and toothpaste method of breast augmentation is fake news and pure online quackery."
Thankfully, some women were saved by MakeupMesha's honest video.

But you don't have to be a doctor to see that this "hack" is probably useless. Other users chimed in with their own opinions.

To some, it's simply hilarious.

And you really can't blame them for laughing.

This is toothpaste we're talking about. Minty cream. On your boobs.

No, thank you. I'll stick to just wearing a bra.
