While vows are often an emotional part of a wedding, they can also be nerve-wracking since tons of eyes are scrutinizing the couple.
Brian Scott, however, didn’t seem to have a problem expressing his love for his bride Whitney Kay, whom he wed in the snowy mountains of McCall, ID.
“I vow to you that no matter what; no matter how messed up things get, I will always be your birthday candles,” the North Carolina resident told his bride. “I promise to go through this crazy life with you, always by your side, and always holding your hand.”
Yet, Brian’s loving words to his stepdaughter, Brielle, were even more touching. With every word, Brian vowed to love the young girl as his own.
“I promise to always hold your hand and skip with you down the street, and bring comfort to your life,” he said. “I vow to show you how a man should treat a woman in my relationship with your mother and above all else I vow to protect you, care for you, and love you forever.”
