Lately, I'm on a real mission to declutter my life. While I wouldn't classify myself anywhere near this level of hoarder disorder, I do have way too many things…and it's definitely not because I have too much money to spend on them.
To me, these physical things represent memories, and oftentimes, it's just too hard to let these things go. Nowhere is this more true than in my closet. Am I really going to break out those high heels I wore once back in 2010 ever again? Of course not. Yet for whatever reason, I'll probably never muster up the courage to put them in my constantly present bag of clothes to donate.
The same thing goes for old T-shirts and sports memorabilia that you can never get back once you throw them away. I've already lost so many things like this over the years, that when I found this next video I vowed to never let that happen to my kids.
In the following video from YouTube's The Goodwill Gal, we learn how to make a one-of-a-kind piece of wall art out of an old sports jersey. I don't know about you, but I have a storage box of things like the jersey she uses in the video tucked away, because I just have no use — or room — for these items. Luckily, she came up with a nice way to display the jersey as a keepsake, without spending an excessive amount of money to get it framed.
What piece of clothing would you like to use in this project? Please SHARE this video on your Facebook page, so all of your friends can learn, too!
