Here at LittleThings, we love anything featuring goats. They're some of the most adorable and hilarious creatures. And when they're tiny babies, who can resist them?! Just check out this baby trying to desperately head-butt his horse friend in the funniest way, and this baby who was returned to his mother after just one day away from her. So when we heard about this strange story, we just had to share!
One mama goat at Mark's Melon Patch, a roadside farm market, gave birth to twins quite unexpectedly. But it wasn't the birth itself that was quite shocking, but how it came about. Apparently, the mama goat became so agitated that she gave birth — all because of a fire in the vicinity!
A pot of boiling peanuts caused the fire in a small section of the market. Thankfully, firefighters were able to put out the flames, which didn't spread and only caused a small amount of damage. No one was hurt, and all the animals are doing just fine!
The twin goats — both boys — haven't been named yet. But Mark Daniel, the owner of the market, says that he's working on finding good names for them.
