Lost animals can end up almost everywhere!
Poor strays have been found in the most unlikely places, from abandoned houses, to boxes, and even to drainpipes. Sometimes, entire families get a little lost, like this mama and her babies stuck in a gutter.
But fortunately there are plenty of volunteers, or even kind strangers, who help animals out in their time of need.
The Arizona Humane Society even has amazing trained technicians who will get cats and dogs out of a bind.
This was fortunate for two newborn kittens that found themselves in quite a predicament after their mother gave birth under a Walmart refrigerator.
Though she was found and adopted, the babies remained under the fridge, tiny and completely helpless without their mom.
But thanks to the society and their staff, the kittens were rescued from their chilly captivity!

In an Arizona Walmart, a stray female cat was recently found and given to the Arizona Humane Society.
She was quickly adopted into a loving home — but after she left, Walmart employees began to hear strange cries from under one of their refrigerators…
The concerned staff wasted no time calling over the Humane Society's Emergency Animal Medical Technicians (EAMTs) to investigate.
Using a snake camera, the technician identified two strange lumps deep within the fridge's vent.
Suddenly, it became clear that the stray cat had left something behind in the local Walmart: two tiny kittens!
Small and scared without their mom, they let out scared little meows that squeaked out from under the vent.
After several hours of finagling the fridge, the technician was finally able to get to the kittens.
Their small stringy bodies showed that they could barely fend for themselves and would have surely perished under the appliance.
Fortunately, the two kittens recovered at the humane society and have grown into cute, healthy kittens.
The gray female tabby's name is Grace.
And cream male kitty is — ironically — named Houdini!
Though the two were too small to be put up for adoption after their rescue, they were bottle-fed by volunteers until they were 12 weeks old and have since found happy forever homes!
