Have you ever been home alone at night and heard a mysterious creak somewhere in the house? You know it’s probably nothing, but you can’t fight the suspicion that someone, or something, is inside your home and watching your every move.

What sort of mysterious hidden force spends its time throwing packets of food off of grocery shelves? How much do we really know about things that go bump in the night?
I’m sure these two gentlemen who went for a late-night hike through the woods of Northern Spain are asking themselves similar questions right about now. They were walking through the forest in Catalonia, on the northeast corner of the Iberian Peninsula, when they came across a handful of odd, unusually large feathers.
