A United Airlines pilot recently got the moment of his life when he was able to fly for the first time with his mom, who is a United Airlines flight attendant. He was piloting a flight that was headed to Spain, and she was working as a flight attendant on his plane, so of course, he didn't let the moment pass without paying tribute to her.
During his pre-flight announcements, 31-year-old Cole Doss delivered an appreciation speech to his mother, who has been a flight attendant for over 40 years.
Cole posted the video to his Instagram page. "The highlight of my career came to life when I was able to work a trip with my mom and fly her for the first time! She’s been my biggest supporter in becoming a pilot. We had the best trip to Madrid together. I’ll never forget this experience and everyone who helped make this possible," he captioned it.
During his speech, he added that she's been his biggest supporter since his first flight lesson. "To my mom, I love you, and to everyone onboard, welcome aboard our family-friendly skies."
