Good Samaritans Lift Car Off Trapped Crash Victim With Their Bare Hands

Good Samaritans and Dallas emergency crews came together overnight to help lift a car off a woman who was trapped underneath.

The incredible dash cam footage shows a woman on a motorcycle colliding into another vehicle near Greenville Avenue and Bryan Parkway. The accident caused the woman to become trapped under the car.

Several witnesses stayed near the scene, and police quickly responded. The group first tried to use a jack to lift the vehicle off of the motorcyclist but that was unsuccessful, police said.

"The female motorcyclist was gasping for air as the vehicle was crushing her," noted the Dallas Police Department blog. "Realizing the dire situation at hand, Dallas police officers, Dallas Fire Rescue, and citizens changed course and relied on unified physical human strength. Instead of waiting for additional equipment to arrive, the decision was made to lift the vehicle by hand."

The amazing video shows the heroic moment they came together and lifted the car off the woman's body. By working together, they were able to save her life!

She was taken to a nearby hospital. Police said the woman did not suffer any major injuries.
