The 1920s glamor, to some, is the epitome of style. We see the frivolity and extravagance shown in dreamlike movies like The Great Gatsby, and it immediately makes you wonder what it was really like to live during that time.
Whether or not it would have been a good time to live is more or less unimportant when speaking about the fashion. It had its very own distinctive vibe that had never been approached before. One of the main points of style during the '20s, other than all of the fringe and feathers, was women's hair.
Short hair was in. The boyish crops and bobs were the only ways to go for stylish women. It seems like that trend is coming back in a modernized way, with tons of stars going in for the blunt lob right at the shoulders. But, if you want to go for a more classic 1920s hairstyle without chopping all of your long locks off, this finger wave hairstyle is the way to go.
This style does take a bit of patience, but once you get the hang of it, you're never going to want to leave the house without it again. If you're used to setting your hair, this is going to be a total breeze!
This look is one of the most glamorous styles I've seen, and I'm definitely putting this on my list for styles to try next!
