She Puts Leftover Mac And Cheese On A Waffle Iron. I HAVE To Try This!

Every day I am not on a diet I am a happier person. No, I don't mean I eat poorly every day, but my goodness — I get to try out amazing treats like this without any guilt at all.

What would my life be without a bacon breakfast pizza or an easy-to-make giant pancake? Totally empty. You only live once, so enjoy it while it lasts. Indulge a little!

One of the first comments on this video is, "Oh ye, gods — you are eeeevil (in the best way possible)." I think that pretty accurately sums up how I feel about this yummy-looking treat. My favorite thing about this dish is that you can do it with leftovers. I have a huge problem with not fully utilizing my leftovers.

In fact, that's one thing I do feel guilty about. Wasting food is all too common but almost always unacceptable. It's bad for the environment, bad for your wallet, and poor etiquette when we know so many people go without food everyday. Unfortunately, I don't always practice what I preach and find myself looking at leftovers with "I have to eat this again?" look. Any recipe where leftovers can be reused into a new meal is right up my alley.

All you'll need is a waffle iron and the following ingredients:

  • 2 cups leftover mac and cheese
  • 4 slices bacon, cooked and chopped
  • 3 eggs, whisked
  • 2 cups Panko breadcrumbs
  • Non-stick Cooking Spray
  • Maple syrup (optional)
  • Hot sauce (optional)
