When waitress Megan Asadi got called in to work an extra shift at The Virginia Kitchen in Herndon, Va., she never expected her life would change forever!
After she was done serving a table of 10, the group left their server a big surprise: a $1,200 tip on just a $128 tab. She was stunned to find the money, all cash, on the table. The generous tip left Asadi speechless. She says the tip could not have come at a better time; Asadi is a single mom of two teenage daughters.
The group of diners wish to remain anonymous, but this isn't the first time they've done something like this. Every holiday season, they put together a lunch and spread some cheer, collecting as much cash as possible to leave for their server. They hope to inspire others to do the same and spread the holiday cheer with random acts of kindness.
