They Were Bored When War Vet Grandpa Took Them To The Movies — Until THIS Caught Their Attention

This amazing short film begins with a senior citizen sitting in his vehicle. The radio is playing a news report that we're all too familiar with hearing: A group of vandals defaced a war memorial to protest the military.

It might be because they disagreed with our current war, or perhaps it was just a group of hoodlums who like to destroy nice things. Regardless of the reason, these terrible people have forgotten about the sacrifices of our war veterans both past and present.

While so many people enjoy the freedoms of being an American, many of them have forgotten the brave men and women who put their lives on the line just so we can continue to enjoy those freedoms that we have grown so accustomed to.

The video shows the senior citizen war veteran taking his grandchildren to a movie that shows footage from WWII along with speeches by FDR, JFK, and Ronald Reagan. But it's not until the very end of this short film that I felt the need to stand up and say "Thank you," to the countless war veterans that have sacrificed so much over so many generations.

The surprise at the end is definitely worth the wait, and I truly hope that their sacrifices are never forgotten!

Thank you veterans!
