Buyer Beware! When She Brought Home Her New Clothes, What She Discovered Was SHOCKING…

When you were young — heck, even now as adults — you were probably told at least once that you should wash new clothes before you wear them. Why? Tons of people have touched them before you, sure, but there’s more…

As the Wall Street Journal points out in the video below, many parents wash the clothing they buy for their babies to avoid any rashes or skin irritation caused by fabric chemicals. But they claim that this is a practice adults should employ for their own clothing. WSJ contributor Heidi Mitchell says that it’s not just chemicals we should be worried about, but pests and bacteria as well.

“The surprises are even more disgusting than just a little rash,” she says. “There have been lice found, savvies found. When you think about how many people [touch clothing] when you buy it in a store, or if it’s been returned or used, imagine how many people have tried this stuff on.”

So I for one will be thinking twice about wearing unwashed clothing. And we have a few helpful hacks for those among us who can’t stand laundry day. To ensure your washing machine isn’t the one doing any damage, try vinegar. For stains, give shaving cream a whirl.
