This 3-year-old from Tennessee may just be the sweetest big brother ever, and this video will prove it! Carter just became a big brother, and he was caught on camera cradling and rocking his newborn sister, 2-month-old Dion, who was strapped to his chest in a baby carrier.
The video was shared to Instagram and has garnered over 1.7 millions likes. "My heart was so happy," the mother, Autumn Altamirano-Bailey, told Good Morning America in an interview. "I'm an only child so seeing this moment and other moments with Carter and his siblings is truly the best."
"He actually asked and said he wanted to try to hold the baby," she said of Carter. "I babywore with Miles, my other son, [as a newborn] as well. He wanted to babywear Miles, and we tried, but Miles was too big and Carter was too small."
"So to finally be able to babywear his sister, he was so excited and happy," she added. "In my experience and opinion, seeing these moments between my kids makes everything worth it. Seeing my boys care for their sister makes my heart explode, and again makes all the hard moments worth it."
