When most people think of giving birth, they imagine doing it in a sterilized hospital room surrounded by beeping machines and white walls. Little Lemma Maria’s mom chose a different way to bring her daughter into the world, and the video of the process is absolutely beautiful.

Her mom chose to give birth in her own home, in a tub…But what her husband when he disappears from the frame at the 2 minute mark would make most men cower: He gets into the tub with her! This woman opted to bring her little one into the world in their own home through a waterbirth. While some people might not feel comfortable deviating from the more modern way to have a baby, others believe that this method is more natural and relaxing for both mother and newborn. It’s definitely a far cry from this incredible high-tech virtual technology birth, and it’s certainly not for everyone, but many women who have tried it highly recommend it. This woman also gave birth to her baby in a relaxing pool of warm water, and everything went perfectly fine!
