This baby seal was looking for his mom, and came right up to us, maybe thinking we could help him! At first we thought he would come up to investigate and then scurry away, but he stayed away for a while, calling out over and over again, asking us if we knew where his mom was!
We stayed with him for a little while, hoping we'd see his mom, and thankfully, after a few minutes, we did! We were really happy this little one wasn't orphaned, and that his family was just a few meters away!
The most amazing thing is how much like a puppy this little guy is – he might even be more friendly!
