For parents-to-be, nothing is more exciting than finding out the gender of their baby. While some choose to wait until the birth for the big reveal, others prefer knowing beforehand.
For that reason, people have come up with some pretty big ways to share the surprise. From big parties to small intimate gatherings, couples are always taking their creativity to the next level.
Well, with that being said, one couple decided to turn the most special day of their lives into something even more special. Instead of their wedding day being solely about their lifetime commitment to each other, they also decided to take the time to share the spotlight with their unborn child in the cutest way possible!
Two weeks prior to their wedding, the couple received the results of their ultrasound but asked their doctor not to tell them. Instead, they had the results sent to their baker, who was instructed to make a blue cake if the child was a boy, and a pink cake if the child was a girl.
At the reception, the couple revealed the gender of their baby in front of all of their friends and family, and everyone — including them — was met with a beautiful surprise. Mom-to-be thought she knew what the baby's gender was going to be, but when she cuts the cake? Incredible!
