Proposing is certainly a nerve-racking experience: You have to find the perfect time and place, think of the right words to say, and, of course, hope your significant other complies.
Canadian airline WestJet and Tourism Barbados attempted to make the experience a little less stressful for two bachelors by giving them the opportunity to propose to their girlfriends on a romantic vacation on the Caribbean island.
The only catch: WestJet would decide when the men would pop the question.
After several false alarms, the first bachelor, JP, was told to propose to his girlfriend Stephanie after zip-lining.
“You know how important you are to me. All I really want to do for the rest of my life is continue to make you happy. I love you so much,” JP said before he dropped down on one knee.
The second bachelor, Mike, proposed to his girlfriend Heather as the couple overlooked the crystal blue water.
“The last three years, I have been in love with you. You are the most beautiful, caring, loving person I have ever met my entire life,” he said before popping the question.
