Because of baking soda's amazing deodorizing properties, it's good for all sorts of cleaning projects, but one unusual way of using baking soda is to use it to clean your carpet. That's right – some baking soda, some essential oil, a tupperware container, and a vacuum is all you need to have fresh-smelling carpets in a very short amount of time!
For those of us with furry friends, this is a fantastic, non-toxic way to keep our house smelling like a house, and not a dog bed!
