Every woman deserves a little pick-me-up now and again, and sometimes an gorgeous makeover is just what a person needs to give them the confidence they need.
This week on NBC's Today, two deserving women received an amazing Ambush Makeovers that completely stunned their families. The two lucky ladies were barely recognizable.
First up was 57-year-old Donna Libby. The retired teacher and grandma was ready for her makeover. She revealed that she hasn't changed her look in over 20 years and was ready for something new — especially after losing 40 lbs. When her daughter and husband see her new look, they can't believe their eyes! Even her husband chimes in that his wife looks like a movie star, even comparing her new look to that of Mary Tyler Moore.
Connie McKey was the second woman to get a makeover. The 58-year-old mom from St. Louis revealed that she shed a whopping 70 lbs recently and was ready to update her look. When her husband David sees her new look, his eye bulge out and his jaw drops. He's can't believe his eyes.
"She's beautiful," he says, grinning. Aww!
