Man Keeps Running Into People He Knows While At Costco And Finds Out He’s At His Own Party

A man went shopping at Costco one day and thought it was a "coincidence" that he kept running into people that he knows. Turns out, his wife planned a surprise birthday party for him, and decided to host it at Costco because her husband goes to the warehouse store "more than once a week."

On TikTok, Emma Blevins shared a video that shows her husband, Clint Blevins, walking into Costco then walking through the store. In the video, he runs into several friends and family members before he starts to suspect that it's not merely a coincidence.

In the video, Emma explained that she asked friends and relatives to "spread out across the store." Her husband, instead of catching on, kept "telling everyone how weird it was" that so many of his loved ones were shopping at Costco at the same time.

He didn't suspect anything until he ran into "Mammaw" — a relative who does not shop at Costco.

"Ya'll planned this," Clint, who was turning 27, said in the video. "This doesn't make sense."

When Clint walked to the food court in Costco, his friends and family had a birthday cake ready for him. Emma also noted that there was a "surprise guest appearance" from a clown who reportedly likes to do impressions of actor John Cena.

But Emma stood by her decision to host the birthday party there, captioning her video with, "If you have a guy in your life who loves Costco — throw him a surprise party!"

Many TikTok users loved the party idea as well, calling it "SO CUTE" and "so thoughtful." A lot of TikTok users also noticed how the party guests did their grocery shopping while they were there.

"This is how you are able to get that many people together in ur late 20s," one TikTok user commented. "bday party and grocery shopping in one go."
