There is an old saying that goes, "If you want something done right, do it yourself." This phrase will resonate with those of us who like things done a certain way.
Sometimes, you can never be too careful when sending someone to do your bidding. This includes sending your husband to the grocery store. A shopping list is key, but how detailed you decide to get is a matter of personal choice.
One woman from India named Era Londhe went above and beyond when it came to making a shopping list for her husband. Some people may even call it a masterpiece.
When she shared her list on Twitter, it caught the attention of people everywhere who appreciated her attention to detail and her carefully illustrated visual aids.
You have to respect a woman who knows what she wants! Era made sure her hubby knew exactly what she had in mind. We can all learn something from her.
On September 23, Era shared her work of art on Twitter with a caption:
This is a task I gave to my hubby last weekend!! Even U guys should follow this list for happy customers
Era's awesomely detailed list was so popular that it received over 1,200 retweets and over 5,500 likes.
It just goes to show, people can understand Era's effort and love of food.
We can imagine Era's husband appreciated her clear instructions. He was definitely up for the task.
Getting the right groceries is totally worth it come dinnertime!
On the first page of the two-page list, Era listed tomato, onion, methi (a common herb in South Asian dishes), and bhindi (okra).
You can see that she included some illustrations too. Who doesn't like a picture?
We particularly enjoy the drawing of potatoes, with an arrow pointing at the medium-size tuber, not the small one or large one.
The second page even includes a little picture of exactly what kind of pepper she wanted.
Of course, the list was signed off with a heart, love an appreciative wife.
Some people joked on Twitter about the density of the list.
It certainly is a beautifully constructed set of instructions. Era definitely knows her vegetables.
In fact, the tweet was so popular that people even asked for answer keys to explain her instructions.
Ask and you shall receive! Era supplied this addition to the list for everyone who wanted a little insider information about the produce aisle.
