4-Year-Old Skips Up The Stairs To Her Door, Then Suddenly She Is Swept Off Her Feet

We all want to be swept off of our feet, but maybe not literally.

Depending on where you live and what season, the wind can be so strong and forceful, it feels like it's going to knock you right off your feet into the air.

Fortunately this rarely actually happens, but one little girl from Lyndhurst had an actual airlifted experience this week.

The whole incident started innocently enough, with the girl, named Madison Gardner, skipping up to her front door after getting out of the car with her mom.

The wind very noticeably whips around the front porch, but that doesn't stop her from grabbing for the handle.

Then, in a blink of an eye, poor Madison is lifted in the air, helplessly holding on to the door as the wind flings it out, over the house stoop.

Though she is obviously caught off guard by the runaway screen door, Madison holds fast to it so she doesn't fall — she also never drops the phone she's holding.

As harrowing as the clip looks, it apparently resulted in no serious injuries, and the family found it so humorous they posted it online with Frank Sinatra’s "Come Fly With Me" appropriately playing in the background.

Not surprisingly, it has gone totally viral! Watch the shocking clip for yourself down below.
